I understand where you are coming from. I used to think all of these things.
At one time, I shared the same thoughts, feelings, and frustrations.
It was my reality.
And I will be the first to tell you that it was no fun at all.
I spent many years being in the grind. Pushing, abandoning myself, silencing my intuition, and searching for outside validation. I was in constant need to prove myself worthy.
Did I get results operating in this manner? Of course. I helped generate and lead a team that scaled to 8 figures worldwide. We were a bunch of badasses, and I helped many people make a lot of money from this place.
But deeply, I felt unworthy, I felt tired, and was in relentless cycles of self-sabotage.
I felt a great deal of struggle and anxiety. Never failing to obsess about the next sale or team recruitment. It was not a good experience.
I would throw myself into full-blown panic attacks in desperation to hit my monthly sales goal.
Then, I would calm myself down with wine.
Because I developed such high levels of social anxiety, I required anxiety pills to be around people at sales conferences (I have no judgment towards using anxiety medication).
For me, it was an aid to cope at the surface level. I worried if I would be enough, I worried if I would say the wrong thing, and I would put immense pressure on myself to perform.
People controlled me more than I would have liked to admit when I operated within my injured masculine and feminine.
As long as we’re being honest, I convinced myself that SHOTS = CONFIDENCE.
Unfortunately, some of those shots for confidence became nights and experiences that I have since had to forgive myself for.
I was looking everywhere except myself for trust, confidence, assurance, safety, enough-ness, and validation.
And when I did that -
I collected my first $60K in 45 days.
I healed my anxiety.
I received dream pay in full clients.
I was happier.
My results showed up with ease, support, and flow.
My closing rate was in the upper 90%
A constant stream of referrals began to flow to me.
